Photographs of your favourite furry friend, with a twist. From a one hour dog portrait photography session, we will create a completely unique bespoke piece of artwork of your favourite furry friend.

The fee is £145.00 and includes:

  • A pre-consultation. We will arrange a convenient time to call you, or Zoom, to have an informal chat about the upcoming photo shoot, where you can tell us a little about your dog(s), and what you can expect on the day.

  • A private viewing gallery of up to 20 images from the session. From this gallery, we will ask you to choose your favourite image and from that we will create your unique bespoke piece of artwork (see examples, below. You can also choose your own background colour!) -an 8″x10″ fine art photography print on museum-grade paper. Also, we will send you a corresponding social media resolution digital image for you to use. Please note, if you wish to have more than one image from the gallery made into a unique piece of artwork, we can send you a PDF of print sizes and costs.
  • Up to 1h shooting time. At the moment we work within a radius of 20 miles around the Woking, Surrey area, which is included in the fee. We are happy to make arrangements to travel further afield, which would incur an additional travel fee, and accommodation if needed (i.e., depending on the distance; you would like us to photograph your dog, or dogs, at a particular event, and so on…).

  • Location – depending on where you live (within the 20 mile radius), we have a number of outdoor locations that we really like to use, such as Horsell Common, Chobham Common, Brentmoor Common… on-lead or off, whichever you or your dog prefers (we can edit out the lead afterwords). We are also happy to hear about any other location recommendations. However, if your dog has any anxiety issues with other dogs or people, for example, and would be more comfortable in their own garden, then we can discuss this option during the initial consultation call.

  • To book a session, feel free to contact us at helen.jones@floriophoto.com, WhatsApp: 07775 743 961, or via our Instagram page, and tell us a little bit about yourself and your dog(s), your contact details, and when you would like the photoshoot to take place. We can then arrange a mutually convenient time to call or zoom.

F.A.Q.s & Answers:

Q: Can I only bring one dog per session?

A: Because of time it takes to create a unique bespoke piece of artwork, we request a maximum of three dogs per session only, please.

Q: When and how do I pay for my dog portrait photography session?

A: We kindly request that you to pay the full fee of £145 on booking to secure your session. This can be made via bank transfer, Paypal, or Revolut.

Q: What if I need to cancel last minute?

A: As the full fee has be paid to secure the booking, then we are happy to reschedule.

Q: Will the good old UK weather stop play?

A: This can be assessed the day before, but cloudy skies are kind to photographers. And, to get the best light, we also prefer early mornings or late afternoon for the photo session. In the case of too hot weather, again, we can assess the day before. If the session can’t take place at all, we can reschedule.

Q: Can I be in the photo with my dog too?

A: Of course! See example below of a unique bespoke piece of artwork of one of the ‘Dog’s Talk’ photographers, Helen, with our West African ex-beach dog, Dexter. BTW: Did we tell you that Helen has been studying dog behaviour for the past 2+ years? So, she is pretty fluent in ‘dog talk’ already!

Q: Can I choose my preferred background colour?

A: Of course! We, much like dogs, have our own individual tastes 😉 This can be discussed once you have made your image choice.

Q: Can I get multiple prints of my unique bespoke piece of artwork print?

A: Yes, you can. We can send you a PDF of prints sizes and costs.
